for Baby Bennett, on his birthday

This project was close to my heart. My best friend's son is turning one and I wanted to create a special print for his bedroom. The illustrations are all objects that begin with the letter "B". My process started with hand drawn and painted images. I then traced them using Kuretake brush pens on tracing paper. I cut them out and arranged them by hand to create a pleasing composition. The illustrations were then scanned, digitally traced and the sketch above is the rendering of the screen print I will create.
